Om Trader

You can find Om Trader at Shop No. 8 in the Patwa Market. We are right by Bharat Talkies on Station Road. It’s a very loud and busy part of town because of the station and the movie theater. There’s always someone shouting or a horn honking outside. Our shop is a small part of the big market, but we’ve been here long enough that people know to look for us. We trade in various goods and our shelves are usually pretty packed. Every morning we open up the shutters and start setting things out. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around. We talk to all sorts of people every day, from delivery drivers to folks just passing through on their way to the train. The market has its own energy, and you have to be quick to keep up with it. We don’t have any big corporate goals. We just want to sell our stock and make enough to keep going. Sometimes the heat in the market is a bit much, but we have a fan that helps a little. It’s an honest living. We keep track of everything in our ledger and try to stay on top of what people are asking for. It’s just us, the shop, and the daily hustle of the market. We’ve been in Shop Number 8 for a long time now, and we've seen the market change.
