Siddharth Eye Hospital

Siddharth Eye Hospital is right there at 45 MLA Quarters in the New Market area of Bhopal. If you know where the Rangmahal Talkies is, then you pretty much know where we are. It is a busy part of Jawahar Chowk, so there is always noise from the traffic and people walking by outside. Inside, we try to keep things a bit more relaxed. We spend a lot of time looking at eyes and talking to people about their glasses or whatever else is bothering them. The building has been here for a bit, and it looks like a normal part of the street. Sometimes the light in the waiting room flickers, but we eventually get around to fixing it. It is just a local place in Bhopal where people come when they can't see the TV clearly or their eyes are itching. We don't have any big flashy signs, just the one out front. The morning tea usually comes from the stall around the corner, and that’s when we start seeing the first few folks. Some are regulars who have been coming for years, while others just found us because they were in New Market for shopping. It gets quite crowded on Saturdays, so the chairs fill up fast. We just take it one person at a time and try to get everyone sorted out. It’s a simple setup, nothing too fancy, just the way we like it. We focus on the eyes and the people.
