We’ve been here at Plot 73 for a while now. The Old Market gets busy in the mornings, and we are usually open before the rush starts. Hanumanganj Jumrate is a place where everyone knows everyone’s business. We spend most of our day just sitting here, talking to folks who come by for this or that. Sometimes the power goes out in the middle of the afternoon and we just have to wait it out. There is a tea stall right around the corner that keeps us going during the long hours. It isn't anything fancy, just a solid place where we do our work. The walls could really use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up well enough. We keep our records in stacks on the old wooden desk. It’s how we’ve always done it. Customers know exactly where to find us. If you get to the Old Market, just ask for Plot 73 and people will point you our way. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy to show off. Just the name painted on the door. It’s always dusty out here because of all the truck traffic, but that’s just life in this part of town. We stay until the sun goes down and then lock up the heavy shutters. It’s a long day, but it feels good to be working in a place like this. Not much has changed over the years, and we kind of like it that way. Just regular work every day for regular people.
