Our office is located at 7, Dulhan Sahiba Ka Mahal, which is right in the heart of Lakherapura. If you are coming this way to see Shivnandan Agrawal & Co, we are directly in front of the Motilal Mannulal Dharamshala, a very old and well-known landmark in Bhopal. The area is quite traditional and the streets are narrow, filled with the history of the old city. We’ve been operating out of this building for a long time, and you can tell by the way the walls and floors look. It’s a place that has seen a lot of people come and go over the decades. Inside, it’s mostly just desks piled with files and the sound of a ceiling fan whirring away. We don't really bother with fancy signs or modern decor because that’s not really the style of Lakherapura. Most of our work is done through old-fashioned conversation and careful record-keeping. It gets very crowded outside during the festivals, and sometimes it's hard to even get to the door, but that is just how life is in this part of Bhopal. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share a tea in the afternoon when things slow down a bit. It is a slow-paced way of doing things, but it feels right for a business like ours. We just keep doing what we’ve always done, day in and day out, without making much of a fuss about it.
