Our business, Shivam Gold Agritech, is situated at Anand Bhawan on Datt Gali, along Dhareshwar Marg in Dhar. It is a local spot that many people in town are familiar with. We focus on the agritech side of things, which mostly involves dealing with seeds and other farming inputs. We aren't trying to be some huge international company; we are just a local group working out of Dhar. The office is tucked away in a spot that’s easy enough to find if you know the area. We spend most of our time talking to farmers about what they need for their next crop. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, and everyone gets a bit stressed, but that’s just how it goes in agriculture. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything. We just show up every day and do the work that needs doing. There are files everywhere and the phone rings more than we’d like, but it keeps us busy. Being on Dhareshwar Marg means we are close to the heart of the farming community here. We see a lot of people coming in to ask questions or pick up supplies. We try to be helpful without making a big deal of it. It’s a straightforward business run by people who understand the local land. We just keep our heads down and keep the wheels turning, hoping to make things a little easier for the folks who grow our food.
