Being located in Dawa Bazar on Hamidia Road is quite an experience because it is always so crowded. Our office is F-69 on the first floor of Vardhman City Plaza. If you know Bhopal, you know that this area is the heart of the medicine trade. There is always someone shouting, trucks unloading, and people rushing around. It can be a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. The building itself is older and the elevator breaks down more often than we would like. We just take the stairs instead, which is probably better for our health anyway. We handle a lot of different pharmaceutical products here. Most of our time is spent on the phone or writing out invoices by hand. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure they get to the right place on time. The office is a bit small and we have boxes stacked almost to the ceiling sometimes. It is just the reality of working in a busy market like this. We are just a group of people trying to make a living in the pharma trade. We know the other shop owners around here and we help each other out when we can. It is a tough but good way to work. We spend our lunch breaks at the small food stalls nearby because the food is cheap and filling. That is our daily life in Bhopal.
