Our setup is over in Rani Bag, Limbodi, which is part of Indore. The house number is 79. It’s a quiet area mostly, though Indore is growing so fast that everywhere feels busy now. We work on women’s fashion and accessories. The name is Sassybabe, which sounds a bit modern, but we are just a small group of people working out of this space. We have racks of clothes and boxes of stuff everywhere. It’s not a fancy boutique with carpets and mirrors. It’s more of a working space where we pack orders and check new arrivals. We spend a lot of time on our phones and computers because that’s how most people find us these days. Limbodi is a bit away from the main city center but it’s a good place to work from. We’ve got a routine here. We come in, check what needs to go out, and then spend the afternoon looking at new designs. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to say hello. It’s a very local feel. We don't use a lot of big words or marketing tricks. We just show what we have and hope people like the style. The winters in Indore are nice, but the summers make the office quite warm. We just keep the door open for a breeze. It’s a simple life running a small fashion business in MP.
