Santosh Art

Santosh Art is located right by Gate No.-2 on T T Nagar Road. We are situated in the Dashera Maidan area, which is a pretty well-known spot around here. If you are coming from the New Market or staying at the Palas Hotel, we are just a short walk away. Our workspace is usually filled with materials and projects we are currently working on. It’s not a very large place, so things tend to pile up near the back wall. We spend a lot of our hours here, sometimes staying late when there is a lot to finish. The area around Dashera Maidan gets really crowded during the big events, and sometimes it's hard to even get to the door. We have been in this location for a good number of years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The shop doesn't have air conditioning, so we keep the fans running all day to stay cool. People often stop by just to look at what we are making. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we just like the work we do. Most of our tools are old and have been with us since the beginning. It's a bit of a messy environment, with scraps and bits everywhere, but that’s how an art place usually looks. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and get to work on our projects.
