Sanjeevani Hospital

Our place is right opposite Motia Talab here in Bhopal. It’s a nice spot if you like looking at the water, though we’re usually too busy inside to notice the view much. Sanjeevani Hospital has been part of this Bhopal neighborhood for years. You can see the reflection of the talab in our front windows when the sun hits them late in the afternoon. The traffic on the road out front can get a little hectic, especially during the festivals, but inside we try to keep things as quiet as we can. Our building is a bit older, with those high ceilings that help keep the place cool during the summer months. We have a small crew of nurses and ward boys who have been with us forever. They know which floorboard creaks and which door needs a little extra push to close properly. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or slogans. People come here because they know us, and we know them. Sometimes a former patient will just stop by to say hello while they’re out on a walk by the talab. We appreciate that. It makes the long shifts feel a bit shorter. There’s always a kettle of tea going in the back room for the staff. It’s just a regular local hospital doing what it needs to do every day without making a big fuss about it.
