You can find us over at Lakhpati Bhawan, specifically at No-63 on New Itwara Road. Sandesh Printer And Publishers has been operating out of this building for a while now. The street outside can get pretty loud with all the traffic and people moving about, but inside it’s mostly the sound of the machines running. We do a lot of printing and publishing work, mostly stuff for local folks who need flyers or books put together. The building itself, Lakhpati Bhawan, has its own character, and our space is filled with stacks of paper and the smell of ink. It’s not the cleanest office you’ve ever seen, but we know where everything is. We don’t really go in for fancy talk or big marketing plans. People just know we’re here on New Itwara Road and they drop in when they have a job that needs doing. Sometimes the deadlines get a bit tight and we have to stay late, but that’s the nature of the printing business. We’ve seen other shops come and go, but we’ve stuck around at this spot. We like the rhythm of the presses and the way a finished book feels in your hands. It’s practical work. If you’re looking for us, just look for the sign near the entrance of the Bhawan. We’re usually around if the lights are on.
