Ruchir Trading Company

Our shop is right in the middle of Para Bazar, tucked in right across from the Bank of India. Being in the bazaar means it’s always loud and there’s always someone walking by. Ruchir Trading Company isn’t a huge operation, but we stay busy with whatever needs trading that week. It’s mostly just us keeping track of inventory and talking to folks who come by looking for specific items. The bank across the street is a good landmark for people who haven't visited us before, though most locals know exactly where we are by now. The space inside is a bit tight because we have to store things wherever they fit. You might have to sidestep a box or two if you come inside. We don’t spend much on decorating because we’re here to work, not to look pretty. The floors are a bit worn down from people coming in and out all day. Sometimes we just sit on the bench outside when things quiet down for a minute. Trading is a simple enough business once you get the hang of it, but it keeps you on your toes. We deal with different suppliers and try to keep everything organized, even when the market gets a bit chaotic. It's just a regular local business doing its thing in the heart of the bazar, and that suits us just fine. We’ve been here a while and plan to stay for a lot longer.
