Rohit Masala

We set up Rohit Masala right here on Lalghati Road a good while ago. Being near Vina Vidhya Niketan means we see the kids and parents walking by every morning and afternoon, which keeps the area feeling alive. Sanjay Hill Colony is where most of our neighbors live, so it’s a familiar crowd. The shop itself isn't anything fancy to look at, just a place where we get the work done. Every day starts early, usually around sunrise, getting everything ready before the heat really kicks in. It gets dusty on this road, especially when the wind picks up, but that’s just how it is around here. We spend a lot of time just cleaning and moving bags around. My hands usually smell like turmeric or chili by the time I head home for dinner. Sometimes people stop in just to ask for directions because of the school nearby, and we don't mind. It’s a busy spot, especially with the traffic moving toward the main parts of town. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people just know us because they’ve seen the sign or walked past the open door while we’re grinding things up. It’s loud inside sometimes, and the air gets thick when we’re working, but you get used to it after a week or two. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running as long as there is work to do. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy.
