Raj Hair Dreshes

This shop is in the Bagsevnia area, right near Krishna Arcade in Bhopal. It’s a small hair cutting place. I started it because I knew how to cut hair and didn't want to work for anyone else. The chairs are the old heavy kind, very sturdy. We do shaves and haircuts for the men around here. It’s usually full of talk about cricket or the local news. The fan makes a bit of a clicking noise but it keeps the air moving. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you want a cut, you just show up and wait your turn. Sometimes there's a line out the door on Sunday mornings. I’ve lived in Bag Mungalia my whole life, so I know most of the people who walk in. The kids come in for their school cuts and the older men come for a shave and a chat. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights. Just a couple of mirrors, some sharp scissors, and a radio playing in the corner. I use the same combs I’ve had for years because they work. My son helps out sometimes after his school is done. We keep it simple and honest. No big promises or anything. Just a place to get your hair fixed up so you look decent for work or home. It’s just a neighborhood barber shop through and through.
