R C Baheti & Company operates out of M P Nagar in Bhopal. We are at number 24, right near Som Distilleries in Zone II. It is a busy part of town, and there is always something happening outside. Our office is where we spend most of our daylight hours, surrounded by stacks of paper and the usual office equipment. We are a local firm and we don't put on any airs about it. Most days are just about getting through the work that piles up on the desks. We handle a lot of the standard stuff that comes with being an accounting firm, like filing returns and checking books. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we know how to do. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. The walls are lined with binders and there’s usually a pot of tea going somewhere. We have a few regulars who stop by just to say hello or to drop off their paperwork early. It’s nice to have that kind of relationship with the neighborhood. Sometimes the traffic in Zone II makes it hard to get around, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on doing a decent job for the people who trust us with their numbers. It’s a plain, simple operation here. No big marketing campaigns, just a sign on the door and a lot of hard work happening inside every single day.
