Pushkom Hospital

Our hospital is over at No. 62 in the Old Ashoka Garden area, near Govind Pura. It’s a local spot that’s been around for quite a while. We aren't one of those massive hospitals with glass walls and elevators everywhere. It’s a more traditional building. We have beds for people who need to stay over and a small area for walk-ins. In Ashoka Garden, everyone kind of knows everyone else, so we see a lot of familiar faces. The doctors here are regular people who live in the neighborhood. We deal with the usual stuff like fevers, stomach aches, and minor injuries from the local shops or homes. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to switch over to the generator, which makes a bit of a racket, but that’s just part of life here. We don’t spend money on fancy flyers or ads. Most people find out about us from their neighbors. The nurses are good at what they do, even when they’re tired after a long night shift. We try to keep the floors clean and the medicine cabinet full. It’s a modest place, but it serves the people around Govind Pura well enough. We don’t make things complicated. If someone is sick, we look at them and try to help. That’s been the way we’ve done things since we opened the doors at this address years ago.
