Priya Kaushik & Company is situated in the B D A Complex in Shivaji Nagar, right near M P Nagar in Bhopal. Our specific spot is Flat No-510. We are quite close to the State Bank, which makes things convenient for us and the people we work with. The office is inside a residential-style complex, so it has a different feel than a standard commercial building. It’s a bit more private and quiet, which helps when we need to concentrate on complicated numbers. We have been here for a while and have set things up to be functional rather than fancy. There are bookshelves full of tax guides and drawers filled with client files. We spend most of our time here, especially when the year-end rolls around and the work really starts to pile up. We aren't a big corporate firm with a lobby and a receptionist. It is usually just us answering the phone and meeting people when they knock on the door. We handle all sorts of accounting work for the locals. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking figures to make sure everything is right. Sometimes we stay late when there is a lot to do, and the building gets very quiet. We like the neighborhood and the fact that we are near the bank and other important offices. It’s a simple, honest place to get some work done and we plan on staying here for the foreseeable future.
