Vardhman Fabrics

Vardhman Fabrics is situated in the Talpura Pinkar area. It is a place where we handle a lot of different types of cloth and textiles. The shop is full of rolls of fabric leaning against the walls. Some are cotton, some are synthetic, and we just keep them all organized as best as we can. It’s a bit dusty because of all the lint from the fabrics, but that is normal for a place like this. We don't have a big team or anything. It’s just a few of us who know where everything is stored. If someone asks for a specific color, we usually know exactly which pile it is in. The area around here is pretty traditional and we’ve been part of it for a while. We don't use any fancy computer systems to track everything; we mostly just remember or write it down in a ledger. People from the neighborhood come to us when they need material for a suit or a dress. We aren't trying to be a big industrial supplier. We just like dealing with fabrics and talking to the people who buy them. Some days the sun shines right into the front of the shop and makes everything look bright. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings, focusing on the rolls of cloth that need to be measured and cut.
