Our place is over at Plot No 17 and 18 in the Mandideep Industrial Area. You’ll see us right near the Vardhman Factory and across from Gei Power. It’s a big area, so it’s easy to spot once you get onto the right street. We make plastic bottles and preforms. The machines we use are pretty big and they generate a lot of heat, so we keep the big doors open most of the time to get a breeze. It’s a loud environment, but we’ve all got our routine. Mahapet India Pvt. Ltd. is the official name, but most of us just call it the bottle shop. We have stacks of clear plastic everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when we have a lot of stock ready to go out. The drivers who come in to pick up loads are usually in a hurry, so we try to have everything ready for them by the time they pull in. We don’t have any fancy break rooms, just a corner where we keep the water and a few chairs. People here are hard workers who don’t mind getting their hands a bit dirty. We’ve been in Mandideep for a while and seen how it’s grown. It’s a busy spot, and there’s always something happening right outside our gates. We just keep the production line moving and hope the electricity stays on throughout the entire shift today.
