Palash Catering

Our kitchen is tucked away at F 1 Goyal Sadan, just behind Ram Nagar Colony in Idgah Hills. It is a quiet residential area for the most part, but our place gets pretty loud when the vegetable choppers start up in the morning. We have been operating from this spot for a while now. Most of our work involves hauling big containers of food to different parts of the city, but the prep happens right here. Idgah Hills is a nice part of town, though the narrow roads can be a bit tricky when we are trying to get the delivery vans out during peak hours. We don’t really have a big office with desks and chairs. Instead, it’s mostly stainless steel tables, stoves, and storage for the serving dishes. The staff lives nearby, so they just walk over when it’s time to start the shift. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or anything like that. People usually hear about us from their relatives or neighbors who had a meal at a function we handled. Dealing with Goyal Sadan’s layout took some getting used to, but we have a system that works for us. It’s a lot of washing, peeling, and stirring throughout the day. When we aren't cooking, we are usually checking the inventory of plates and spoons to make sure nothing went missing at the last event.
