If you’ve ever walked down Hamidia Road near Ghora Nakkas, you’ve probably passed by us. Omrf Pipe & Products is right in the Peer Gate Area. We’re actually quite close to Manohar Dairy and Restaurant, which is lucky because the food there is great and we end up going there for lunch more often than we should. Our place is basically a warehouse and a small front area where we handle all the pipe business. It’s a crowded part of the city, so things are always a bit chaotic with the traffic and people walking by. We have a lot of different sizes of pipes sitting around, taking up most of the floor space. It isn't a showroom or anything like that, just a workspace where we get things done. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit of time. The building is old, and it has that specific smell of metal and rubber. Some days are slow, but usually, there's a truck trying to squeeze into the narrow street to drop off a delivery. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the right products go to the right people. It’s straightforward work. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around. We just open up in the morning and stay until the work is finished for the day.
