Max Care Children Nursing Home

Max Care Children Nursing Home is located at number 75 near the Taj Ul Masjid, not far from the Bhopal GPO. Being so close to the mosque means we hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which is a very familiar sound for everyone here. Since we deal with children, the atmosphere is usually a mix of crying and the sound of toys hitting the floor. We have some stickers of cartoon characters on the walls to make the place look a bit more friendly, but many of them are peeling at the edges now. The building is an older style with high ceilings and thick walls that stay relatively cool even in the Bhopal heat. The waiting area is often packed with parents holding kids, and it can get quite loud and frantic during the peak hours. We have a few old rocking chairs that the mothers use, and they creak quite a bit. The staff spends a lot of time cleaning up spills and trying to keep the hallways clear of strollers. It is a bit of a squeeze when we have a full house, and the office in the back is tiny and filled with medical files. We don't have any high-tech waiting systems, just a nurse who calls out names when it is your turn. It is a simple, hardworking nursing home for the local families.
