Manglam Kirana Store

Manglam Kirana Store is at shop 8 in the MIG area on Bhadbhada Road in Bhopal. We are located in Shastri Nagar, not very far from Depo Square. It is a busy spot because of the traffic moving toward the square. The shop is a simple one, with a lot of metal shelves that hold everything from soap bars to bags of salt. I have been working here for a long time, and the routine is always the same. I open up early, sweep the floor, and start checking what needs to be restocked. The area has a lot of families who have lived here for decades, so I see the same faces every morning. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. Everything is just put on the shelves where it can fit. Sometimes the delivery guys leave the boxes in the middle of the floor, and I have to move them out of the way before the first customer arrives. The counter is a bit worn out, and there is a small calendar hanging on the wall behind me. I keep a bottle of water and a tiffin box under the counter for my lunch. It is a small business that doesn't try to be anything else. We just sell the things people need for their cooking and cleaning. The evening is usually the most crowded time when people are coming back from work.
