Mahakaushal Weaversart Private Limited has its office on the second floor of the Aakriti Business Center in Bawadia Kalan, Bhopal. We are in unit SF-11. It’s a decent spot in a growing part of the city. We focus on the weaving side of things, trying to keep those traditional arts going in a modern market. Our office isn't very large, but we have enough space to handle the administrative side and keep some of our better samples on display. Bhopal has a good mix of old and new, and we try to bridge that with the fabrics we work with. We aren't a massive factory; we are more of a private limited company that manages the work of various weavers. It involves a lot of traveling to meet with the actual craftsmen and then coming back here to handle the sales and distribution. The business center is usually quiet, which is nice for when we need to do the accounts or plan the next batch of production. We don’t use much marketing jargon. We just tell people what kind of weave it is and where it came from. Some days are spent just looking at patterns and deciding what might sell. It’s a slow process compared to modern fast fashion, but that’s how we like it. We are just a small team trying to make sure these weaving techniques don't just disappear. It is steady work that keeps us connected to the local artisan community here.
