Maa Kalika Driving School

If you are driving down Link Road No 3 in Bhopal, you might see us near the Kolar Colony Guest House. We have been running this driving school for a while now, helping people in the GPO area learn how to handle a car without getting too nervous. The traffic in Bhopal can be a bit of a mess, especially during the peak hours, so we spend most of our time in the passenger seat with our foot near the extra brake. It is a job that requires a lot of sitting and a lot of patience. Our small office in Kolar Colony is where we keep the logbooks and wait for the next student to show up. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or fancy marketing stuff here. It is just a couple of cars that have seen a lot of miles and some instructors who know every pothole on this road. Sometimes the heat in Bhopal makes the afternoon lessons a bit tiring, but we just roll down the windows or turn on the fan. People from all over the neighborhood come to us, from young students to older folks who finally decided they need to learn to drive. We usually grab a tea from the stall nearby when we have a break between lessons. It is a regular local business, nothing more and nothing less. We just focus on making sure people can park and shift gears properly.
