You can find Tyre Gallery over at New Kabad Khana, specifically in Liyakat Market. We’re in Shop No. 1/6, which is part of the New Palasia area. It’s a place filled with the smell of rubber and the sound of tools. We’ve got stacks of tyres everywhere you look, sometimes so high you can’t see the back wall. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We spend the day moving heavy things around and talking to drivers who need a change or a patch. The market is always loud, and there’s always someone shouting across the lane. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with air conditioning or anything like that. Usually, people just stand around or find a stool while we work. It’s a bit greasy and dusty, but that’s just how tyre shops are. We’ve been in New Palasia for a while, and we know most of the regulars who come by. It’s a straightforward life. We open early because that’s when the trucks start moving. Sometimes we get a rush and everyone is working at once, and other times it’s quiet enough to sit and read the paper. We don’t bother with big ads. If someone needs a tyre, they know where the market is. We just keep our heads down and get the job done. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid at the end of every single month.
