You can find us at Plot No- 2 in Khajuri Kalan. We are quite close to the SOS Children’s Village, which is a good landmark if you are looking for Piplani. The area is a bit tucked away, so it doesn't get the heavy city traffic, which is nice for us. Our building is basically a large shed where we do all the grinding and mixing. There is always a strong smell of turmeric and chili in the air, so you can usually tell you are near our place before you even see the sign. It’s a very practical space. We have some heavy machinery that makes a lot of noise during the day, so we usually have to raise our voices to talk to each other. The floor is concrete and we try to keep it as clean as possible, though the spice dust gets everywhere eventually. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the bills and the delivery notes. It’s mostly just a few of us working here. We start early when it’s still cool outside. The yard has a few trees that give some shade during the lunch hour when we sit outside for a bit. We don't have fancy packaging or a big marketing team. We just focus on getting the sacks filled and sent out to the local shops. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do. We usually finish up when the sun starts to set.
