Up here on the second floor of Kuber Complex, at shop number 8, things stay pretty active most days. We deal with a lot of different trading items, which is why we’ve got "multitrade" in the name. It’s not a huge space, but we make it work with the desks and the storage we have tucked away in the corners. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit of a workout if the lift is acting up, which happens now and then. We mostly spend our time on the phone or checking invoices. It’s a typical office vibe where everyone knows everyone’s business. We aren't trying to be some big corporate giant; we just want to get the day’s orders processed and out the door. The Kuber Complex is always noisy with people coming and going from the other shops, so you get used to the background hum. Sometimes we grab lunch from the stall downstairs and just eat at our desks while talking about the weekend. There’s no big philosophy behind what we do. We just trade goods, talk to suppliers, and keep the books balanced. It’s practical work. Most of us have been here for a couple of years, so we’ve got a rhythm down. If you need to find us, just look for the sign near the stairwell. It’s simple enough. Anyway, the sun hits the window hard in the afternoon, so we keep the blinds closed mostly.
