Being on the third floor means we get a lot of exercise because the lift is a bit temperamental sometimes. It is a decent building though. From our windows, we can see the street below and the trees in Rohit Nagar. Bhopal gets quite hot, so we are thankful for the shade we get in the afternoons. Our office is just a regular room with some desks pushed against the walls. We do our best to stay on top of things. There isn't anything particularly special about how we set things up. We have a small kettle for tea and a stack of files that never seems to get smaller. Most of our staff have been around for a while now. We know each other's habits and how we like to work. We aren't looking to change the world or anything like that. We just provide our services to the people who need them and try to be as helpful as we can. Bawadiya Kalan is a busy neighborhood so there's always noise from the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it. It feels like a real workplace because it is one. Just ordinary people doing ordinary work in a busy part of town.
