Kalpesh Traders

Our shop, Kalpesh Traders, is at No-25 in the J K Building. We are right opposite the bus stand on Hamidia Road. Because we are so close to the bus stand, it is always noisy and crowded outside. You hear the drivers honking and the conductors shouting all day long. It makes the day go by fast, though. The J K Building is an older place, with narrow hallways and a lot of character. Our space is filled with whatever we are trading that week. Boxes are stacked up to the ceiling sometimes. We have a small counter where we talk to people who wander in. Often, people waiting for their bus will pop their heads in just to see what we have. We don’t mind the company. Hamidia Road is a main vein in this town, so we see a lot of different people. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just open the doors in the morning and see what the day brings. The floorboards creak a little, and the paint is peeling in the corners, but it feels like home to us. We’ve been here long enough that we know the other shopkeepers and the guys at the tea stall nearby. It is a simple life of trading and talking, and we are happy with that. No-25 is our little corner, and it stays busy enough to keep us out of trouble.
