K S Mathur & Company has been operating out of Rachna Nagar for a good long while. Our place is number 100, and it is quite close to the Chetak Bridge. It is a handy spot because most people know where the bridge is, so they do not get lost trying to find us. The office is pretty basic. We have our files, our computers, and a few chairs for when people stop by to talk. We handle a lot of the routine stuff that businesses need to stay on track. It is not very exciting work to most people, but it is important to get the details right. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background while we work through the stacks of paper. Sometimes the traffic near the bridge gets loud, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We are not into fancy titles or sounding like we are in a big city movie. We just do the accounting and the tax work that needs doing. We know the local area well and most of the people who live around Rachna Nagar. It is a decent place to work. We try to keep things straightforward and do not make things more complicated than they need to be. We have a few old wooden cabinets that are overflowing with folders. Every year we say we will clean them out, but we never quite get around to it. It is a quiet life.
