Jiji Fashion Crafts Llp is tucked away in Shop Number 7 at Riviera Towne. Being so close to MACT Square means there is always something going on right outside our door. We get a lot of noise from the university students and the constant traffic, but you get used to it after a week or so. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be very smart about where we stack the stock. Most of the time, the back room is overflowing with craft supplies, cardboard boxes, and half-finished projects. We focus on the handmade side of things, so there’s a lot of glue, glitter, and loose thread lying around. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, but it’s where we work every day. We don’t have a fancy website or a professional photographer to take pictures. We just take photos of things on our phones when the light looks okay. Some days are slow and we just sit around and talk about the local news, and other days we are working so fast we forget to eat our lunch. The air conditioner in the shop makes a weird rattling noise, but it keeps the place cool enough for us. We’ve been here for a bit now and the neighbors in Riviera Towne know us. It’s a simple life, making things by hand and hoping people find a use for them. We aren’t trying to change the world; we are just making crafts.
