Janta General Store

Janta General Store is located on Kaheel Pur Road, right inside the Anupam Nagar Colony area. We are pretty close to the Ayurvedic Centre, which makes it easy for people to find us if they are new to the neighborhood. We sell all the basic things you’d expect from a general store. Batteries, snacks, soap, and whatever else people might have forgotten to buy at the big market. The shop isn't very large, so things are tucked into every corner. It can get a little crowded when more than three people are inside at once. We’ve been here serving the colony for quite some time now. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic on Kaheel Pur Road. Other days, like Sundays, everyone seems to come in at the same time. We don't really do much advertising because everyone around here already knows where we are. It’s a quiet spot most of the time. We try to keep the fridge cold for the sodas. Sometimes the door sticks a little, but you just have to pull it hard. We keep the register near the front so we can see who's coming in. It’s just a standard local shop where neighbors meet. Nothing more, nothing less. We’re happy being part of this little community. If you need a quick pen or some biscuits, we’re usually open for most of the day and we will help you find what you need.
