Jain General Stores has been a part of the Jahangirabad market in Bhopal for a good number of years. You can find us right in the Main Market area, zip code 462008. It’s a place where we spend most of our waking hours. The shop is filled with all sorts of household goods, from cleaning supplies to snacks and lentils. It gets pretty cramped inside because we like to keep plenty of stock on hand. You never know what someone might walk in and ask for. The streets here in Jahangirabad are always full of life, and our shop is right in the thick of it. We see a lot of the same people every single day, and we’ve seen their kids grow up too. It’s just a normal neighborhood shop. We don't have a big marketing plan or a fancy office. Our office is just a wooden desk in the corner where we keep the accounts in a thick register. Sometimes the rain makes the market a bit messy, but people still come in for their daily needs. We just do our best to keep things organized, even if it doesn't always look perfect to an outsider. It's hard work standing on your feet all day, but it’s what we know and we are used to it. We are just local people serving other local people, keeping things as simple and honest as we possibly can every single day.
