Iiser Bhopal

We are located over in the Iti Campus, specifically the Gas Rahat building in Govindpura. It’s a bit of an old area but it’s where everything happens for us. Being in Bhopal, the weather can get quite heavy, but this building holds up okay. We spend most of our time inside these walls. The Govindpura area has a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk through the gates of the campus. It’s not the most modern-looking place from the outside, but it works for what we need. We have students and staff moving around all the time. It gets quite busy during the middle of the day when everyone is heading to lunch or switching classes. We don't have any flashy lobby or expensive furniture. It’s mostly just functional spaces, desks, and chairs. We try to keep things organized, though with so many people coming through, it’s hard to keep everything perfectly tidy. The walk from the main gate to the Gas Rahat building is a short one. Most people know where the Iti Campus is, so it’s easy to find. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the routine stays pretty much the same day after day. We start early and stay late. There’s always something that needs doing. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the looks of the place. It’s a working building in a working part of town. We just focus on the daily tasks and getting things finished.
