Trendz Trading Company

Our shop is over at 9/2 Nadim Press Road. If you know the area, we’re right opposite Feroz Tower. It’s a busy street with people always coming and going. Trendz Trading Company has been here for a while now, squeezed in among the other shops. The space is a bit narrow, so we have to be smart about how we stack the crates and boxes. There’s usually a bike or two parked right in front of the door, which makes getting in a bit of a squeeze. We spend our days dealing with suppliers and talking to people who drop in to see what we have. It’s mostly trading work, so there’s a lot of checking lists and making sure the numbers add up. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get around to it. We drink a lot of tea here, usually from the guy who comes around with the kettle twice a day. It’s a simple way to run a business. No big meetings or complicated charts, just us at the desks and a lot of talk on the mobile phones. Sometimes the street gets so loud we have to shout to be heard over the traffic. But we like being in the middle of it all. It feels real. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the shutters go down in the evening.
