Harsiddhi Hospital

In the Bhopal area, specifically across from Beema Kunj, you will find our hospital. It is a spot that most of the locals have gotten to know over the years. People come through our doors when they are not feeling great or when something happens at home and they need to see a doctor quickly. We have wards for people who need to stay for a few days and a small section for more urgent cases. The people working here are mostly from Bhopal themselves, so they understand how the neighborhood works. A lot of our day is spent talking to families and explaining what is happening with their relatives. It involves a fair amount of paperwork and keeping the medicine cabinets organized. The lobby tends to get a little crowded during the visiting hours, especially on the weekends. We try to keep the hallways clear, but it is a busy place to work. You can hear the city sounds outside, but inside we stay focused on the patients. We do not have any big marketing budgets or anything like that. We just open up in the morning and stay until the work is finished. Some of our equipment has been here for a while and it still works just fine for what we need. It feels more like a part of the community than a cold medical building. We keep some extra blankets and pillows in the storage room for folks.
