Ganesh Kirana Store

Ganesh Kirana Store is located right at 37 Hanumanganj, which is very close to the Main Railway Station in Bhopal. Being near the station means there is always a lot of movement. You can hear the trains blowing their whistles at all hours of the day and night. Azad Market is a very busy place to have a shop. We deal with a lot of dust from the road and the noise of the crowds. Our store is just a regular kirana shop with bags of rice, pulses, and spices. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and the address 462001 is well known to the local delivery guys. We don't have a big office or anything. Our office is just a small wooden desk in the corner of the shop where we keep our accounts. Some days are very long, especially when we have to unload new sacks of grain. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a place where people can get what they need for their kitchen. The walls have some old calendars hanging on them and the ceiling fan makes a bit of a clicking sound. It’s just how it is. We know our customers by their names and we know what they usually buy. Bhopal is a big city but this little corner of Hanumanganj feels like our own small world. We just keep the door open.
