Frontfoot Media is set up at House No. A/56 in Gujrati Colony, which is in the Bawadiyakalan area of Bhopal. It’s quite a way out from the old city, in a place that’s still growing. Our office is literally a house, so it has a very domestic feel to it. We use the main rooms for our media work and the kitchen for endless rounds of coffee. Bawadiyakalan is much quieter than M.P. Nagar, which is a nice change of pace for us. The streets are a bit wider, and it feels more like a neighborhood than a business district. We have our equipment spread out across different rooms. It can get a bit disorganized when we have a big project going on, with tripods and bags everywhere. We aren't polished professionals in a skyscraper; we’re just people working from a home base. Most of our days are spent editing or planning things out on a whiteboard that’s leaning against a wall. The Gujrati Colony is a friendly place. We know the people living next door, and they know what we do. It’s a bit of a commute if you’re coming from the Huzur side of town, but we’ve made this our home. We don't have a big sign outside or anything. It’s just a regular house where a lot of creative work happens. We like the independence of being here.
