Farim Clinic

This clinic is located at B-108 in the Asok Garden area. We are positioned right on the main road, which is Chola Road. It is a very busy stretch of road with trucks and heavy buses going by at all hours. Sometimes the whole building shakes just a little bit when a particularly large vehicle passes by. We have been operating from this spot for a long time now. The garden area nearby is actually quite nice, but we spend most of our time looking at the traffic from our front window. It is a very straightforward clinic. We have a small wooden desk at the front and a couple of plain rooms for doing exams. The paint on the walls is a bit faded in some of the corners, but we keep everything clean. We get a lot of people from the Chola Road neighborhood who just walk over whenever they are feeling unwell. We do not use any fancy computer booking systems for our appointments. People just show up, write their name down on a paper pad, and wait for their turn. It is a very informal way of doing things. Sometimes we have to close for an hour if we need to run an errand in the market, and we just put a hand-written sign on the door. People around here understand how it is. We know the families and have seen the kids grow up.
