Exports Enterprises

Our base is over at Post Box No. 578 in R. S. Nagar. We operate Exports Enterprises from a space that’s mostly filled with boxes, tape, and packing materials. R. S. Nagar has changed a lot since we first started, but we’re still here doing the same things we've always done. A big part of our day involves heading down to the post office or meeting with the courier drivers to hand over the packages. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things around and making sure everything is taped up tight so nothing breaks. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a secretary to answer the phones. Usually, if the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. The office gets a bit dusty because of all the cardboard, so we’re always wiping down the desks in the morning. It’s a simple setup with a couple of computers and a very old printer that we have to kick sometimes to get it started. We know the routines of the neighborhood pretty well by now. The guy who sells snacks on the corner knows exactly what we want when we walk over. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, especially when there’s a lot of orders to get out by the deadline. But we just put our heads down and get through it. It’s not about being the biggest, just about doing the job.
