Ducon Paints Pvt. Ltd. is out in Mandideep, specifically at No. 49 C in Sector B. It’s an industrial area, so it’s always busy with trucks and workers. We’ve been operating out of this facility for quite some time. It smells like paint and chemicals most days, which is something you just get used to after a while. We aren't a huge multinational, just a local company trying to make good products. The floors are usually stained with different colors from where things spilled over the years. We have a small crew working the machines and a couple of people in the front office handling the bills. It’s loud in the back when the mixers are running. We don't really have a showroom or anything fancy. If people want to see what we have, they just come to the warehouse. We spend a lot of time checking the batches to make sure the colors are right. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the day fixing it ourselves. It’s hands-on work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make paint and sell it to people who need it. Mandideep is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat, but we have our routine. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day. There is always a lot of cleaning up to do before we leave for the evening.
