Drug House

Drug House is situated in the JK Building on Hamidia Road. We are right in the heart of the Dava Bazar area, close to the Bus Stand Square. Being in this part of town means it’s always busy and a bit loud. The building itself is quite old, and our shop is packed with rows and rows of medical supplies. It’s often a squeeze to move around when we have new stock coming in. The area outside is always full of people moving handcarts and boxes of medicines. We hear the constant noise of buses and horns from the square nearby, which you eventually just get used to. Most people come to us because they are looking for specific things that the smaller neighborhood shops don't carry. We spend most of the day checking prescriptions and writing out bills on our paper pads. The air inside can get a bit warm because there are so many buildings crowded together, so we keep the ceiling fans going all the time. We’ve been part of this market for many years now. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense environment where the focus is just on getting the right medicines to the people who need them. We don't have any fancy displays, just our shelves and the daily work of running the store.
