Dream Shacks

We are based out of a house in Sahyog Vihar, which is part of the Bawadiya Kala area in Bhopal. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s much quieter than the city center. We are located near the Sahapura Thana, which is how most people find their way to us. Dream Shacks is a small operation, and we like it that way because it lets us focus on one thing at a time. The office is basically a converted room with some desks and a couple of shelves full of design books and material catalogues. Since we are in Gulmohar Colony, we get a lot of people from the nearby houses stopping by to ask about renovations or just to see what we are doing. The vibe here is very relaxed. We don't have a storefront with big windows, so it feels more like a workshop. We spend our mornings going over floor plans and our afternoons visiting sites to see how the actual building is going. Sometimes we just sit in the small garden area outside to talk about new projects when the weather is nice. There’s always a bit of a mess with paper scraps and measuring tapes left out, but that’s just part of the process. We prefer the quiet here because it helps us concentrate on the drawing part of the job without too many distractions from the main road.
