Design- 2- Furnish

Our setup is in Bungalow No 10 at Aashiyana Aangan, which is tucked away in Arera Colony. We are quite close to the Shahpura Police Station here in Bhopal. It’s a nice, quiet part of the city compared to the markets. We go by the name Design- 2- Furnish. Since we work out of a bungalow, it feels a lot more like a home than an office. We have different rooms for different things, like one for fabrics and another for wood samples. It’s often a bit of a mess because we are always pulled into three projects at once. We don't have any formal reception area. People just walk in and find us working. Arera Colony is a great place to be. We have some trees outside and it stays relatively cool. We don't go for those big, flashy advertisements. Most people just see our name at the gate or hear about us from a neighbor. We keep our talk simple. If a chair is uncomfortable, we say so. We don't use all that design jargon that sounds like another language. We just want to help people get their furniture and rooms sorted. Sometimes we lose track of time when we are busy with a layout. The police station nearby is a good landmark for people who haven't visited us before. It’s just a small team of us here, doing what we know how to do best. It’s nothing fancy, just work.
