You can find Deepak Dewangan & Company on the mezzanine floor of V M Tower. It’s at number 29 in M P Nagar, Zone 1. Being on the mezzanine floor means we’re sort of tucked away between levels. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is slow, but it’s fine. We’ve been here in Bhopal for a while. The office is usually filled with the sound of the fan and the occasional printer noise. We handle a lot of different things, mostly just administrative and professional work. It isn't a flashy place at all. We have our desks set up in a way that makes sense for us. Sometimes it gets a bit cluttered with all the files, but we know where everything is. Mostly. People from around the city come to us when they need help with their accounts or legal papers. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or anything like that. It’s just us. We like the area because everything we need is nearby. Lunch usually comes from one of the stalls downstairs. We aren't trying to be the most famous company in Bhopal. We just want to do our jobs and go home to our families. It’s a decent life. The work is steady and the people we meet are usually quite nice. That's the long and short of it. We just keep moving forward one day at a time in our office.
