Laxmi Iron Steel Furniture

Our workshop is right at the Danish Kunj Chauraha on Kolar Road, specifically at units 118 and 119 in Ashirbad Colony. It’s a bit of a noisy place because there is always someone welding or cutting steel. At Laxmi Iron Steel Furniture, we make all sorts of metal items. You’ll find cupboards, bed frames, and those heavy-duty racks people use in shops or garages. We started this because we liked making things that actually last a long time. Wood gets ruined by termites or water, but steel stays put. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights. Most of our stuff is just lined up against the walls or sitting on the floor waiting for someone to pick it up. Sometimes the finish isn't perfectly smooth like the stuff you see in big mall stores, but it’s sturdy and it does the job. My brothers and I handle most of the orders ourselves. People come by, tell us the dimensions they need, and we get to work. It can get pretty hot in the summer with the torches going, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve been at this spot for years and the locals know where to find us if they need a good gate or a heavy locker. It’s honest work and we like seeing a finished piece head out on a rickshaw. We aren't a big factory, just a local shop making furniture that works and doesn't break.
