Charak Hospital

This hospital is located in the old Nav Bharat Press building in Jehangirabad. It’s a well-known building in this part of the city, so people usually don't have much trouble finding us. The structure itself has a lot of history, which you can see in the thick walls and the way the rooms are laid out. It’s not like a modern hospital with glass walls and elevators everywhere. We have high ceilings and those big windows that let in a lot of air. The neighborhood around Jehangirabad is always crowded and noisy, with scooters and rickshaws zooming past all the time. Inside the hospital, we try to keep things organized, but it gets busy during the morning hours. We have rows of chairs in the waiting hall that are almost always full. The paint is peeling a bit in the corners, but we prioritize keeping the medical areas clean. It feels like an old-fashioned place where everyone knows everyone. Many of the patients have been coming here since they were kids. It’s a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with the hallways. We don't have fancy computers at every corner, just the essentials for taking care of people. It’s a functional part of the old city, and we just keep things running as best as we can every day of the week. The staff usually eats lunch together in the small courtyard when it's not too hot.
