Chandra Swarnima Alankar is located right near Padumal Square on Rajura Road. Jitendra Soni is the one who usually handles the daily work here. If you know this part of town, you know it stays pretty active with people going to and from the market. Our shop is not a huge building, just a practical space where we keep our jewelry. We mostly see local people who live nearby or are just passing through the square. We don't really do big advertising or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for a long time. Every morning we open up the shutters and get the lights going. We have various pieces of gold and other items on display. It’s a lot of manual work, keeping everything polished and making sure the records are right. Sometimes it’s quiet and we just sit and talk, and other times several people come in at once asking for repairs or looking for a gift. Rajura Road has its own rhythm and we have become a part of it over the years. We don't try to be something we are not. We just provide jewelry to the folks in this area. It is a small team here, and we prefer it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. We are just a local business trying to do things the right way.
