Bombay Battery House

We've been at No. 3-4 E Block on Chhola Road for quite a long time now. Being so close to the bus stand makes it easy for folks to drop in when they have sudden issues with their vehicle batteries. It’s just how things go around here, someone’s battery dies unexpectedly or they need a quick replacement, and they just walk over to us. Chhola Road gets very busy during the day, but our spot is pretty easy to find once you are in the area. We mostly handle different types of batteries people use every day for cars or bikes. It’s a straightforward shop with no frills. Nothing fancy, just metal shelves with stock and a bit of floor space to work on the units. If you are coming from the main bus stand, you’ll see us right there in the block. We spend most of our days checking charge levels and helping people figure out if they really need a new one or just a quick fix to get moving again. It gets hot in the afternoons, and the work is a bit heavy lifting those lead blocks around, but we’re used to it. Most people in the neighborhood know where we are. We don’t really do much advertising. People just know the name Bombay Battery House and show up when they're stuck. We try to keep the place organized, though there's always a few old casings lying around. It's a local business run by people who know the area well.
