Bloom Preschool

Bloom Preschool is tucked away at House Number 1, right across from the Lower Lake in Jahangirabad. Living in Bhopal means we get a lot of that lake breeze, which is nice when it gets hot in the afternoons. The house isn't huge, but it's where we spend our days with the little ones. From the front area, you can see the water clearly. Sometimes the traffic near the lake gets a bit much, but inside it is mostly just the sound of kids playing or someone crying because they dropped their snack. Having been here for a bit, the neighbors are mostly used to the noise by now. Jahangirabad is a crowded spot, so having the lake right there feels like a relief. The front gate is painted, and we try to keep the small yard tidy, though toys are always scattered around by noon. This isn't a corporate office; it's just a home that we use for the school. Staff members wear regular clothes because we don't mind getting a bit of paint or dirt on them. Inside, the rooms are filled with small chairs and cupboards full of paper and crayons. It is a busy little place, and usually, by the time the parents come to pick them up, we are all pretty tired. This is just a simple preschool near the water where the days are full and long. It feels like a normal part of the street here.
